About

Hi. I’m Frank.

From the first book my parents read to me, I have been smitten with stories. It’s no wonder, then, that I’m so drawn to creating stories of my own. Throughout the entire journey of my life, stories have been the one common factor driving me. And what a journey it’s been so far.

My path has taken me from Columbus, Ohio to Columbia, Missouri, then on to New York, Baltimore, and now, Philadelphia. During that time, I’ve earned three degrees (including a PhD in theatre), built sets for plays and musicals like Hamilton, and written copy for websites across the internet. I’ve been an actor, a writer, a carpenter, a collections agent, a parking garage bookkeeper, a teacher, a mentor, and a hundred other things.

That’s the story of my past. The story of my future? It’s all about telling the stories that I think need to be told. I want to dive into writing about nature, movies, history, sports, maybe even Dungeons & Dragons. Whether I’m telling the stories of historical figures or fantasy heroes, my goal is always to leave the reader with something to chew on once the story is told.

I love to make people laugh. But comedy or drama, my main goal is to leave people thinking. I don’t claim to be a philosopher or to have answers to life’s big questions. To me, what’s more important than answering questions is working through them together, listening to each other and trying to understand the differences in how we experience the world. Walk a mile in someone’s shoes. Try to see through their eyes. Take a moment to live in their world. After all that, it’s not hard to believe that at our core, we’re not all that different from one another.
